"Signs and symbols sometimes lose their original meaning through the passage of time.
Some of them however stay to claim their right to exist. As if they were waiting for someone to free themselves of their latent state and lift them from their lethargy. Those signs await a new existence driven by the mysterious ability of signs and symbols to suggest new meaning.
Those signs and symbols have but an aesthetic meaning. A formal beauty that we can translate into a graphic poetic language.
For millennia hieroglyphs and petroglyphs that we are still unable to translate await a dialogue with their beholders. These writings full of signs and symbols create within us a tension strengthened by waiting on an answer that is not subject to time, like a message shot into space."
