Recent photographs of Irion are in essence a photographic diary, a landscape painting of the digital age.  Irion made photographs from ICE, a high velocity train that runs between Amsterdam and Basel, trying to capture what the eye does not register at a speed of 300km/h.

Irion has been working with photographs, objects and drawings for a number of years. She studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Basel (Zwitserland) and the Jan van Eyck akademie in Maastricht (The Netherlands). Irion has had several exhibitions in The Netherlands and internationally.
