Below you will find quotes from French critics about the work of Carlos Caceres Sobrea.

Although the work of Carlos Caceres-Sobrea belongs to the austere field of geometric abstraction, it adds a deeply personal contribution to it.
His work has an emotional dimension ... free of any references to anecdotic imagery.
His work invites us to look at it and slowly discover in it an intense moment of clarity and calm.
-Marc Gaillard
Art and Architecture critic

The recent paintings by Caceres Sobrea have become icons of our time, icons of the search for a new form of spirituality. Inside his images - images that are contemporary austere and sensitive- shines a mysterious aura, a source of peace and true wealth.
-Henri Malvaux
Former Director of l'Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts

With marvellously few means but with an overwhelming mastery over colour Caceres Sobrea carries us far away, beyond any gate into depths one cannot return from without having been touched to the core.
